It's been a while

Well It had been a very long while since my last blog. Almost 5 months to be exact. Not sure that anyone has really missed it but I decided it was time to post a new on. My son will be 6 on Wednesday. It makes me so sad but happy at the same time. He started kindergarten, the first few days were a bit rocky but now he is fine and he really enjoys school. We went to the fair a few weeks ago and here are some pictures.

This past Saturday we had my son's birthday party at Riverbend Farm. For thoses of you who live in charlotte NC this is the best farm by far to go to . We had the best time. There is so much to do there. We picked pumpkins and when we got home they wanted me to take their pictures with the pumpkins.

In memory of Kayleigh Anne Freeman

I have never met little Kayleigh but I have been following her story and have been so touched by it. Today her friends and family are letting pink balloons go in her honor and memory and I wanted me and my kids (Kyle and Kailey) to do the same. I can never imagine what her family is going through but their faith in God is so very strong that I know he will provide for them. As we were letting the balloons go I could just imagine little Kayleigh looking down and seeing the balloons and becoming very excited as chidren do when they see balloons. Right before we let the balloons go my son prayed for her:

Dear Lord,
Thank you for this day and watch over Kayleigh Amen

found it so sweet, he is only 5

Well I will continue to pray for the family and little Kayleigh and one day I will be able to meet this little angel.

Very Random and long

Well I haven't been on here in a very long time and after I talked to my friend
Avion tonight, who by the way informed me to write somthing new, I figured it
was time to post a new blog. So much has been going on in the past month.

I started my new job and I just love it. Kyle started playing T-ball,

Friday was his last day of T-K, Kailey is starting to say more words

( her favorite is NO and MINE).

A few weeks ago Kailey decided that our walls needed a

little extra somthing so she thought it would be nice to draw

some nice scibbles on the door, the wall and the dogs kennel.

My husband was sooooooo mad but all I could do was

laugh and take pictures.

A few months ago my mom found my old baby doll hairchair, that I had

used for my babies when I was little and wanted to know if I wanted to fix it

up for Kailey. I was so excited. So tonight I finally got to fix it up.

One more thing, as you all know we got a dog

back in January. She is now almost 5 months old.

She weights 40 lbs and she all puppy.

Easter, New Job

Well Easter was great. We went to church and my aunt came along with us. I was so glad to have her join us. It felt so good to go to church this year on Easter, in the past years we have gong to church on Easter because it was Easter but this year we went because we are involved and we love it. Of course the kiddos were all dressed in their Easter best.

I started my new job today. It was soooo overwhelming. I thought I was going to pull my hair out. Don't get me wrong, I am sooo grateful for this job and very excited, but it is hard to go to a new place after 7 years. There is so much to learn about the school and where things go where things don't go, all the paper work. I know it will all work out, I am going to be doing a lot of praying this next week. Have you ever felt that you were really good at something but when you go to a new place you find your not as good as you really thought. That's kinda how I felt today. the school I came from there were not that many teachers at this school there are a ton. The school goes from Pre-K to 22 years of age. It seems I am not as good as I had once thought. Some might just say it is all in my head. Well whether Iam good or not I know this is what I really love to do and what God put me on this earth for that and to be a mom, I love that even more.

A quick update on my dad. He is doing very well and may even get to come home tomorrow :)

So I was cleaning out my daughters closet today and came across this book.

I started thinking how it might be neat to post one question each week from this book. At least for me it will help me be more honest with myself and make me think about things maybe I have never thought about before. So here is the first question :

If you could say one thing to God, what would you say?

This one is hard for me because like many people there are so many things I want to say to God. I just starting getting back into church last September and I have so many questions. I think I would say to him please tell me all about yourself. I know this is what we learn in church but for me to hear it from him himself would be awesome. Me and my husband don't see eye to eye on a lot of religious issues which if very hard for me, so of course since this is new for me I have so many questions and have trouble getting them. Obviously God would be the one to give them to me.

A new beginning!

Well Iam offically a Tiger a Metro Tiger that is. I got the call today at 5:25 that I have been offered the job of preschool teacher. I can't even put into words how I feel right now. Iam sooo excited, this is what I have waited since March 16th to hear.

I get to continue working with most of my same children. I get to feel apart of a real school, which has been a while since I have felt that way.

I will however miss two of my best buds, Amee and Avion. They never read this but if by chance they do I just want them to know that I love them so much and I could not have made it through these last 7 years without them and yes Amee we will continue to be the best of friends.

On a different note I want to ask for prayers for my dad next week. He will be having surgery to remove a polyup (missed spelled) and part of his colon. I also want to say a prayer for baby Stellan, I have come to know him through his mom's blog and have really been praying for him and all he and his family are going through and all the other little ones who are in need of prayers right now.
